Diaper Soup

When is enough, ENOUGH…in relationships, w/ friend’s lives and drama, w/ potty training, w/ waiting and patience?

Relationships….
I’m so tired of the crap of bad relationships and SO ready to get this portion of my life on track from its previous derailment. It’s going…going quite ‘chugga-chugga’ well in fact!

Friends…
Dude…DRAMA! I’m tired of that too! I can hardly deal w/ whatever drama happens in my life w/out having to deal w/ who said what to whom and who screwed over who…ya know. EEEK! Where is the quiet time for coffee and cuddles? Do these drama queens need these things like I do? I think it’s time to clean within the house of friendship again. I do this every year…but somehow end up w/ the same folk as my friends. Hmm…yes, I’m a push over for a long time friends apologies…they can make all the difference. At least the list has been whittled down to a couple of good friends…but it would be nice to have some friends out here in KEN-tucky. Maybe after January…big changes coming in January! W00t!

The Potty…
So, you have a baby and people come out of the woodwork telling their stories of child experience. Oh yea, little Johnny pee peed on the potty when he turned two! What CRAP (no pun intended)! My little guy is so stubborn. We are having a major power struggle with the potty. He does it when he feels like it – which would be fine if he went on his own, more than once a week! Will this ever be over? Of course it will…I haven’t seen any kindergarteners wearing pull ups…at least I hope not. He’s 3 and amazingly perfect (of course), except for this. But, whatever! At least I don't have to wash diapers, I'm thankful of that - pull-ups are great! SUCK IT UP…sluuurp! Yum yum, diaper soup!

Patience and waiting…
Well…I used to be good at this, but alas, no more! I’m awful at waiting. I’m patient for those I love, but not in waiting. There are things that I really need now, but cannot have. Well, one thing and he knows who he is… J. Life is right here in front of me and I can’t quite reach it…January…please hurry up and get here!

Don't Ridicule my Reticules!

What is a Reticule? It's a bag or early style purse that fashionable Victorian ladies would carry their valuables in.

These were commissioned by the Uni. of Ky. Art museum for their gift shop. They just opened an Impressionist exhibit and these connect with the shop quite nicely. They are named after the artist's work that inspired them (colors, feel, etc). A couple have already sold and I'm hoping to work them again very soon.
